Day 87 - Dinner serenade

August 10 - Wilbur Clearing Shelter to Melville Nauheim Shelter - 23.0 miles

Made our way down from Greylock this morning and then headed to Williamstown. Note to future hikers: getting a hitch here is difficult, the town or at least the drivers, are not hiker friendly.

Mom, thank you for the chocolate chip zucchini bread. Even after a week at the PO (Priority Mail is not 2-3 days like they advertise) they were delectable.

Though our dinner tonight was chicken flavored ramen with a salmon packet, we did have a live performance from a fellow hiker playing the guitar. It's not often that I pair a ramen dinner with outstanding music but I had no other choice. Surprisingly, the ramen did taste better!
