Ran into some pretty unique trail magic today - Miller High Life floating in a stream. Nature's way of keeping beer cold in the woods.
Feet were cashed after 22 miles today. I've hit bigger miles before but after the long miles today I could not hike another mile.
As a result of my fatigued feet, we decided to revise our mileage for the next few days. We ended up at the Days Inn for a hiker rate of $89. The normal rate for the room is $175!
It has now been 7 days without laundry and a shower. We're pretty ripe and a little overdue for a good scrubbing.
